FURTHER BENEFITS
• In addition to the benefits previously discussed, injured workers are also entitled to the following:
• Transportation expense for roundtrip travel to:
  1. treatment and evaluation by doctors
  2. physical therapy appointments and pharmacy visits
  3. vocational rehabilitation appointments
  4. attorney's office for a deposition
• Transportation expense is generally paid via mileage reimbursement. The current rate is $0.485 per mile. Please keep careful odometer records of your necessary mileage on the forms provided by our office and make a copy before you submit them directly to the carrier. We will use these records to litigate any disputes. Medical treatment mileage and vocational rehabilitation mileage should be kept on separate forms.
• One day's workers compensation benefits for each full day lost from work to report to a medical evaluation or a deposition.
